Google just announced that there are going to be two improvements to their Local Business Center offering including real-time updates and the ability to get a badge on your page once you’ve verified your listing.

Real-Time Updates – This will enable you to update your law firm’s place page with special offers, recent case outcomes, or anything you would like to publicize about your firm. The best part is that you can post this update or change it instantly. You can control this feature through your Local Business Center dashboard.

Place Pages Badge – The badges will help prospects identify listings that have been verified by your firm. This is going to increase the trust of your potential clients when they arrive on your place page. They will be able to see that you have claimed your listing and the details displayed about your firm are accurate.
